Still Alive! - How DA has shaped my life
Hi everyone! :) I've been away from DeviantArt for almost two years, and I've missed the art community a lot; it almost feels like missing home while being away... After so much time of inactivity, I thought that my page would be a quiet place, but I was shocked to see thousands of comments in my gallery, people wishing me "happy birthday" last year on my wall, etc... Wow! I never expected that, and I really appreciate everyone's time to leave their comment!! I also found out that one of my older works, Shakespeare, has become a DD!
Life and work has been overwhelming during that period (in a good way, though), so I've been constantly strugg
Photoshop CC - Adobe's Progress and Wishlist
Photoshop has been my main work tool for the last 15 years, so I have downloaded the new Photoshop CC (v.14) a few days ago in order to try it out. Adobe departures from the usual "CS" ( = Creative Suite) naming convention, introducing a new one, called "CC" ( = Creative Cloud), while switching to a subscription price model ($50 per month for the entire suite, $20 for one program). The only downside is that there wasn't much free time available this year; but I hope things will be better next year on this front.
Also, I would like to apologize for missing out any messages, not replying or replying with a delay often; I'm not snub, I've just been way too swamped to check my
Wacom Intuos 5 Touch M - Review
Wacom has just launched its new Wacom Intuos 5 product line. I just got one of these (Medium size), so I thought I'd write a small review about it, since it's the most fundamental tool for my job.
It's been quite a few years since my last upgrade. For the record, before that I've also used a Graphire 1 (A6), an Intuos 3 (A6), an Intuos 3 (A5 Wide SE), and a Cintiq 21UX (currently I've been using the Intuos 3 A5W).
