A portrait of a dragon's head. Created from scratch in Photoshop.

*That is used as a cover of a reissue of the first novel of the Cormyr Saga trilogy (Forgotten Realms) - written by Ed Greenwood/Jeff Grubb.

Daily DeviationDragon head by ~deligaris is one awesome headshot of a dragon. The details are nothing short of amazing, and the overall technique used to bring it to life will just take your breath away. (Suggested by $damphyr and Featured by `dinyctis)

:worship: this is amazing!! there so much detail. It's perfect!
-Low whistle- Mann...that's amazing. Have you given thought to selling it as a poster? I'd probably buy one! =D
Very good details, I can see the smallest scale highlighted and shaded...and the light coming from his mouth, looks like he's gonna spit fire! Awesome. Just...awesome.
This... is simply stunning. The textures you've achieved, the flow of the horns and the way they meld into the dragon's head. I love your use of light and shadow. Very strong image, the dragon really has a wonderful expression of power and malice and amusement. Lovely work.
